Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant opportunity in Nashville, TN

Great opportunity to join a Community hospital setting, level 3 trauma, with 560 full-time employees. Medical services include OBGYN, General Surgery, Heart & Vascular, Primary Care, Urology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Behavioral Health, Hematology, Oncology, Cancer Center, Rheumatology, Foot and Ankle, Orthopedics, Neurology, Interventional Radiology, Otolaryngology and Outpatient Imaging.

About the Position:

Join Two Gastroenterologists & 3 APP Practice
Conducting initial and follow-up patient assessments.
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Assist with post-surgical follow-up appointments
Prescribing medications and treatments within the APP's scope of practice.
Providing patient education and counseling.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide continuity of care.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
