Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant opportunity in Nashville, TN

Great opportunity to join a Community hospital setting, level 3 trauma, with 560 full-time employees. Medical services include OBGYN, General Surgery, Heart & Vascular, Primary Care, Urology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Behavioral Health, Hematology, Oncology, Cancer Center, Rheumatology, Foot and Ankle, Orthopedics, Neurology, Interventional Radiology, Otolaryngology and Outpatient Imaging. 

About the Position:

• Join Two Gastroenterologists & 3 APP Practice
• Conducting initial and follow-up patient assessments.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Assist with post-surgical follow-up appointments
• Prescribing medications and treatments within the APP's scope of practice.
• Providing patient education and counseling.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
