Dependable Health Services is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) to help patients regain, develop, and maintain their daily living and work skills. This role involves providing assessments and treatments for individuals recovering from illness, injury, or disability in the comfort of their homes. The Occupational Therapist will ensure that patients receive the appropriate care and support needed to regain independence and improve their overall quality of life.
Assess patients’ functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
Implement therapy interventions to improve independence in daily living activities (ADLs).
Assist patients in adapting everyday tasks to enhance ease and efficiency.
Improve patients’ hand-eye coordination and motor skills.
Provide strategies to manage emotional and mental health conditions, such as dementia and depression.
Educate and support caregivers and family members in carrying out therapy interventions.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations.
Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Willingness to travel for home visits.
