The Multimedia Content Creator brings Syracuse University to life through compelling content production. This role combines creative storytelling, technical expertise, and collaborative teamwork to develop high-quality multimedia assets that advance strategic business and marketing objectives. Can turn finished multimedia projects with speed, quality and efficiency. Working often under the direction of digital leadership, can shoot and edit a finished multimedia project quickly, sometimes daily, in order to advance the content and digital strategy. Understands and can consistently and effectively bring the Syracuse University brand to life by following brand guidelines.
The multimedia content creator works in partnership with other members of the multimedia team to follow stylistic approaches, to use equipment effectively and to archive footage consistently. Is able to quickly ideate, produce, create and edit post-production dynamic multimedia content (including but not limited to: strong interviewing skills, shooting b-roll, photography and soundbites). Works closely with marketing, digital/social and content strategy teams to advance business objectives by use of multimedia assets. Uses marketing best practices to produce multimedia content and has competency in applying best practices and techniques.About Syracuse University
