Duties and Responsibilities
As an MS Compliance Officer I, you will report to Operational Manager A-SES and be responsible for identifying all program issues and clarification of enforcement procedures to management, customers, and program areas within Motorist Compliance. You will review, analyze and recommend improved systems, procedures, and enforcement methodologies through appropriate data analysis. You will also handle customer inquiries to include special requests from the Customer Service Center, field offices, and management. Last, you will work on special projects that pertain to the Bureau of Motorist Compliance.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products to include Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of concepts of learning
  • Knowledge of analysis techniques and procedures
  • Knowledge of methods of compiling, organizing, and analyzing data
  • Ability to assist in training needs
  • Ability to operate a computer, printer, telephone, scanner/copier/fax
  • Ability to assist in program development, expansion, and improvement
  • Ability to evaluate and analyze data relating to driver license programs
  • Ability to prepare correspondence to include; comprehensive reports, memos, letters and emails
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
  • Ability to understand, apply, and interpret applicable rules, regulations, program policies and procedures
  • Ability to monitor programs and activities for compliance with standards, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information

 

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with the following:

  • Customer service experience
  • Experience typing written correspondence, memos and formal letters, and using Word, Excel and Outlook
