Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Microfocus COBOL Developer with extensive experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Microfocus COBOL and VSAM, along with essential skills in shell scripting and Linux. Knowledge of Postman and PHP is a plus, and experience in the retail/supply chain industry is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Microfocus COBOL and VSAM.
• Write and maintain shell scripts in a Linux environment.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Utilize analytical skills to understand business requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
• 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Microfocus COBOL and VSAM.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and Linux.
• Knowledge of Postman and PHP (preferred).
• Experience in the retail industry is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving
