Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Medical Writer to join our learning development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical writing and a passion for creating high-quality educational content. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to develop engaging and accurate learning materials for healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Research, write, and edit medical content for various learning materials, including e-learning modules, training manuals, and presentations.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of content.
Develop clear and concise educational materials that meet the needs of healthcare professionals.
Review and revise content based on feedback from stakeholders.
Ensure all content complies with regulatory and industry standards.
Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and trends to inform content development.
Assist in the design and development of assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Medicine, Life Sciences, Medical Writing).
Proven experience as a medical writer, preferably in a learning development or educational setting.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and concepts.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to translate complex medical information into clear and engaging content.
Experience with e-learning platforms and instructional design principles is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
Must be US-based and have a very strong background in EU markets with medical writing and process
Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related field (PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred).
Proven experience in medical writing, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Strong understanding of HIV prevention and PrEP therapies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content to different audiences.
Proficiency in medical writing tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in developing training materials for commercial teams.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines for medical content.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
