SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for skilled Medical Device Assemblers!
 
Job Title : Medical Device Assembler
Job Location:  Minnetonka, MN, U.S.A. 55345
Job Type:  Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)
Pay: $18.75 - $19.25 depending on shift 
Shift Structure:  ONSITE, Monday to Thursday, 40 hours per week
1st shift: 10.5 hour shifts with various start times between 4:30am-5:15am 
2nd shift: 10.5 hour shifts with various start times between 3:30pm-4:00pm

 
The role of the Medical Device Assembler: 
• Produces high-quality medical devices and related accessories using applicable tools
• Review all documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Maintain the organization, inventory levels, and the cleanliness of the device packaging area 
• Performs a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and/or digital/analog circuitry 
• Follows safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations
• Utilizes the microscope to complete assembly inspections

About the Medical Device Assembler: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions. 
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts as well as demonstrate manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
• High school degree or equivalent 
• Previous experience working in medical assembly, cleanroom, assembly line, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
