Job Summary

You will perform various operations including but not limited to, setting up, monitoring and operating Tape line/s and other pieces of equipment under direct supervision associated with the manufacturing facility requirements.

 

Job Description

As a Shop Operator - Tape Head, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up, monitoring and operating Tape line/s and other pieces of equipment under direct supervision associated with the manufacturing facility requirements
• Performing Tape Head operation, cleaning, and general setup, which includes loading and unloading products and devices in Work Center
• Following safety guidelines and quality standards in accordance with Job Safety Analysis (JSA), production schedule, setup instructions, and quality specs
• Performing quality assurance activities required by manufacturing/engineering specifications, quality assurance, and ISO requirements
• Training and assisting other employees as necessary
• Following verbal and written instructions, maintaining accurate records, and performing other duties as required

 

Skills Required

• Have 1-year minimum previous manufacturing or shop experience
• Be able to read and interpret routine instructions
• Be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Have good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment
• Have good communication skills, safety oriented and a team player
• Be flexible and possess the ability to follow work center guidelines
• Attention to detail
• Proactive, and adaptability
• Willingness to learn

 

 

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED

 

Additional Requirements

• Special Equipment Required: Steel Toed/Safety Toed Boots
• Work Hours:
  • Night Shift, Monday to Friday, 5:00pm – 5:00am (Out of the 4 personnel needed most will be on this shift but a few might be on days - 5AM-5PM)
  • OT on weekends contingent on business needs - voluntary

 

Pay Rate/Salary

• $21.00/hr
