Job Description

McLaren Simulator Coach will play a pivotal role in providing professional coaching and guidance to our clients seeking to elevate their racing abilities. Leveraging our cutting-edge racing simulators, this role will create personalized training programs tailored to each client's specific needs, helping them gain a competitive edge in the world of motorsports.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in professional racing, with a strong track record of success
  • In-depth knowledge of various racing disciplines and a keen understanding of vehicle dynamics
  • Proficiency in using racing simulators and related software
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear, understandable manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Coaching or instructional experience is a plus
  • Background knowledge of McLaren Automotive and Racing a plus

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' racing abilities and goals
  • Develop individualized training plans to address areas of improvement
  • Provide constructive feedback and implement targeted strategies for skill enhancement
  • Proficiently operate and manage our advanced racing simulator
  • Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained for optimal performance
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in simulator technology
  • Instruct clients on advanced racing techniques, including braking, cornering, and acceleration
  • Focus on honing skills related to race craft, situational awareness, and strategy
  • Analyze driving data to identify areas for refinement and track progress over time
  • Assist clients in devising effective race strategies based on track characteristics, competition, and vehicle dynamics
  • Provide guidance on tire management, fuel strategy, and overtaking maneuvers
  • Utilize telemetry data and video analysis to evaluate client performance during simulated races
  • Offer detailed debriefings and actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Emphasize safety protocols and sportsmanlike conduct during coaching sessions
  • Foster a culture of respect and fair play among clients
