New Energy Nexus ( is an international organization that supports clean energy entrepreneurs with funds, business acceleration, and access to networks. We operate programs in the USA, China, India, Uganda, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines.

New Energy Nexus launched its Vietnam program in April 2019 In Vietnam, New Energy Nexus is building an ecosystem of clean energy entrepreneurs working on solutions to address the regional energy transition and climate change. We support energy entrepreneurs to create new innovative energy companies that will help to build the nation’s clean energy economy.

We are looking for a Marketing & Communication Intern (part-time) based in Ho Chi Minh City. The intern will assist in content creation, graphic design, video editing, and social media management to enhance the programs’ visibility and engagement.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Content Creation & Social Media

• Support in writing and developing engaging content for social media, newsletters, press releases and promotional materials.
• Assist in managing social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
• Generate creative ideas to increase audience engagement and program visibility.

Graphic Design & Video Editing

• Edit short-form videos (recaps, testimonials, highlights) for social media use.
• Work with the team to maintain a consistent and professional visual identity for programs.

Event Support & Community Engagement

• Assist in promoting events and workshops through social media and online campaigns.
• Support in event documentation, photography, and post-event content creation.
• Help manage community groups and channels to engage with program participants and supporters.

Others

• Research on any subject matter that is relevant to the clean energy market and in response to work demand.
• Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Program Manager and/or Project Lead.

The position will be part-time (30 hours per week) and based in Ho Chi Minh City. The internship program will last for 6 months ideally.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Communicational English
• Passionate about energy startups and clean tech

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with organizing events and implementing event marketing activities

• Highly creative person with the ability to come up with new ideas and concepts to design the program activities

• Problem-solving mindset

• Be able to work with an open mind and flexibility

• Good research skills
