JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer - Production Facilities

LOCATION: Ocala, FL

PAY RATE: $53.65/hour

Summary:

• Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and Plated Through Hole (PTH) processes.

• Designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, production layouts, and equipment setups to ensure efficient, high-quality production.

• Design manufacturing processes, layouts, and sequences for equipment installation, machining, and material handling.

• Optimize machine and equipment placement for efficiency within plant facilities.

• Specify procedures for tool and equipment fabrication, ensuring performance and compliance with regulations.

• Adapt equipment designs to suit production needs and incorporate inspection/test requirements into production plans.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions to maintain product quality.

• Support engineering teams with design and specification guidance.

• Apply and potentially develop statistical process control techniques.

• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, including Lean Manufacturing principles.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing engineering focused on Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and Plated Through Hole (PTH) processes

• Experience with conformal coating spray processes

• Proficient in component prep, wave solder, select solder, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI)

• Familiar with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 specifications

• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR)
