Job Description

Job Summary: Agape Senior Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Duty Care Professional to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This is an individual contributor role, working as a contractor in the healthcare/medical field. As a Private Duty Care Professional, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients by providing quality care and support in their homes. Your role will be to assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care, promoting their independence and enhancing their overall well-being. Compensation & Benefits: Compensation for this position ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, paid biweekly. Additionally, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule and select the clients you work with. You will also have access to ongoing training and support from the Agape team. Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes, following their care plans and instructions from their healthcare team
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist with ambulating and transfers as needed
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior
  • Assist with medication reminders and administration, as well as accompanying clients to appointments, if necessary
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the Agape team
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Prior experience in caregiving preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
