Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Contract.

Job Description:

We seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician complete a plant upgrade project list. List includes electrical to 220V, light plumbing, mechanical including light welding.
Specific hours and days are flexible with this role within some limits.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades on factory equipment.
• Troubleshoot and install 110v and 220v electrical systems.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including PVC and copper piping.
• Repair and upgrade mechanical equipment, such as motors, pumps, chain drives, and PLC-controlled valves.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Assist with small projects, including equipment upgrades and installations.
• Travel locally during work hours to procure parts and supplies as necessary.

Requirements:

• Education : High School diploma or equivalent; certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, welding, OSHA awareness) are helpful but not mandatory.
• Experience : Minimum 5 years in a maintenance role within manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Physical Requirements : Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, crouch, crawl, and work in small spaces.
• Schedule : Plant hours are 4:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with some hours required during machine downtime (4-5am and 1:00-4:00pm).

Other Skills :

• Familiarity with PLC-controlled systems is helpful but not required.
• Welding experience is useful and adds value to the role.
