INDIANA MEMORIAL UNION (BA-IMAU-IUBLA)
The Office of Student Life is focused on building a strong foundation to ensure every student's IU experience is positive, safe, healthy, and meaningful. The Office of Student Life staff help students navigate their time at IU, providing the tools they need to be successful in school and after graduation. Students are our priority, and their health, safety, and overall well-being are our core mission.
The Indiana Memorial Union (IMU) is a proud part of the Office of Student Life. Often seen as the heart of campus, the IMU is a historic 500,000 square foot student union which serves as the center of the student experience and hosts more campus visitors than anywhere else at IU.
The IMU Facilities Team maintains the entire building, including the Biddle Hotel, kitchens and restaurants, meeting and event spaces, and many other functions and spaces that help make the Union the heart of the campus. The Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment within the building. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring systems are operating efficiently and safely.
