POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maimon Group is seeking a strategic and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep of our luxury home rentals in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and a keen eye for detail. As a key member of our team, the Maintenance Manager will develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, manage budgets and resources, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while maintaining our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies and plans to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and overtime is controlled through effective scheduling.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and resources, ensuring expenses are accounted for by collecting receipts and proof of payment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Oversee maintenance team vehicle upkeep and maintain an accurate inventory of tools.
  • Assist in recruiting, vetting, and onboarding new maintenance employees and vendors.
  • Maintain properties, including tasks such as replacing light bulbs, BBQ area maintenance, swapping out air filters and batteries, and other day-to-day upkeep tasks.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting and apply decorative and faux finishes as required.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the properties, including sweeping, washing, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
  • Assemble furniture, ensuring quality standards and safety measures are met.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on pools, including water cleaning, filter maintenance, and repairs.
  • Service HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
  • Perform in-home audio/video integrations and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Troubleshoot smart home systems and media devised in the house such as sound system, TV as needed
  • Conduct routine service checks on rental properties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property maintenance management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Experience with short-term rental property management is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in using the Breezway operation platform is a plus.
  • An active/valid California Driver's License.
  • Flexibility to work late hours and weekends as needed.
  • Clean background check.
  • Servicing areas include Los Angeles, the Hollywood Hills, and surrounding areas.
  • Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to quality work.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary: $85,000 - $120,000

Schedule

  • Available to work a minimum of 6 days in our office location (8 am-4 pm) and overtime during off-hours and weekends if needed.
