Location: La Jolla, CA

Position: Housekeeper/Cook

Schedule: Flexible (45 hours/week or 72 hours/week)

Pay: $30 - $35/hr (take home)

Start Date: ASAP

 

Overview: A loving family in La Jolla is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper who can also prepare meals. The ideal candidate will be attentive, proactive, and treat the home as their own.

 

Family Details: The family consists of four members: two children (ages 2 and 13) and two parents. They are looking for someone who can create a warm and nurturing environment.

 

Living Accommodations: The position includes a private suite with a private bathroom for the housekeeper.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Housekeeping Duties:

 

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all living areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces.
  • Dust, vacuum, and mop floors regularly.
  • Manage laundry, including washing, folding, and ironing as needed.
  • Clean kitchen appliances and ensure the kitchen is tidy and sanitary.
  • Take care of household supplies and restock as necessary.
  • Manage light organizational tasks and help with general home upkeep.

Cooking Responsibilities:

  • Prepare breakfast and dinner for the family.
  • Clean up after meals, ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are left spotless.

Schedule Options:

 

Option 1: 9 hours/day, Monday to Saturday (45 hours/week)

Option 2: 12 hours/day, Monday to Saturday (72 hours/week)

Typical start time is 7:15 AM, with a break of 2-3 hours during the day. The workday ends at 9 PM.

Qualifications:

 

Previous experience in housekeeping and cooking required

Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Must be comfortable working in a family environment with young children.
