Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Insurance Agent to join our team. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for selling insurance policies to clients, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring client satisfaction. Duties:
- Sell various types of insurance policies to individuals and businesses
- Develop and maintain a client base through networking, referrals, and cold calling
- Assess clients' insurance needs and provide appropriate coverage options
- Explain policy features, benefits, and exclusions to clients
- Process insurance applications and policy changes accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate policy terms and premiums
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and product offerings
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions
Skills:
- Proven sales experience in the property and casualty insurance industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for clients
- Ability to effectively market insurance products to potential clients
- Proficiency in sales administration processes, including application processing and policy changes
- Bilingual language skills (preferred)
- Familiarity with benefits administration (preferred)
