Position Title: LeapWork Test Automation Engineer
Location: Hybrid Annapolis, MD (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Mfinite Consulting is a certified veteran, woman, and minority-owned professional services firm specializing in IT, management consulting, and staffing. We are seeking an experienced LeapWork Test Automation Engineer to support a long-term engagement. This role offers the opportunity to provide automation leadership, collaborate with quality assurance teams, and ensure the reliability of mission-critical applications.
The LeapWork Test Automation Engineer will:
Design, develop, and deploy LeapWork automation scripts for enterprise applications.
Provide technical leadership and best practices for LeapWork test scripting and ITIL standards.
Train QA staff on efficient use of LeapWork functions and knowledge transfer.
Build test frameworks, develop test scenarios, and create detailed documentation.
Develop both manual and automated test scripts based on application requirements.
Conduct troubleshooting, document results, and log defects.
Generate test execution reports and user training materials.
Support testing across web, desktop, and data-driven applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile, Scrum, and waterfall environments.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Valid LeapWork Test Automation Certification (issued within the last 3 years).
Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team setting.
10+ years of experience in QA processes, including requirements review, test design, and QA tool development.
8+ years in IT development environments (cloud or on-premise).
Experience with LeapWork test scripting in at least 3 projects within the past 36 months.
Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
Hands-on with other automated testing tools such as Selenium, Silk Test, or Rational Functional Tester.
Working knowledge of SQL, automation reusability, locator controls, schedules/run lists, dashboards, and performance troubleshooting.
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST.
Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite in Annapolis, MD, and 2 days remote .
Must be able to report onsite within 24 hours if requested.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed to meet project deadlines.
