• Make a Difference : As a Laundry Aide, your work will directly impact the comfort and well-being of our residents. By helping manage the outsourced laundry process, you’ll ensure that linens, clothing, and other items are kept fresh, clean, and properly organized for the residents' comfort.

Your Role:

As a Laundry Aide, your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain the process of outsourced laundry services for the facility. You’ll work closely with the laundry service provider to ensure that all linens, clothing, and resident belongings are appropriately handled and returned to the facility in a timely and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and organize laundry for residents and staff before it’s sent to the outsourced laundry service
• Ensure all laundry items are accurately labeled and logged
• Maintain inventory and ensure that linens and clothing are properly tracked
• Communicate with the laundry service provider to confirm proper handling and timely delivery of laundry
• Organize and distribute clean laundry upon return to the facility
• Report any missing, damaged, or improperly cleaned items to the appropriate departments
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of laundry storage areas
• Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are upheld in all laundry processes

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with external vendors
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing great service
• Ability to lift, move, and carry laundry items as needed
• Compassionate and caring nature toward residents
