Job Description:
Midwestern IT is currently seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join our team on a W2 Contract basis . This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to kickstart or re-establish their career in Business Analysis. As a Junior BA, you will support business and technology teams by gathering requirements, analyzing data, assisting in documentation, and contributing to solution design discussions.



Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in requirements gathering and documentation for business and technical teams
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and workshops
• Analyze and document business processes and workflows
• Support in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and Use Cases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project goals
• Provide support for testing and validation efforts (UAT)

• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Any exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, or MS Visio is a plus
• A background or coursework in Business Analysis or a related field is desirable
