Job Description:
Midwestern IT is currently seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join our team on a W2 Contract basis . This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to kickstart or re-establish their career in Business Analysis. As a Junior BA, you will support business and technology teams by gathering requirements, analyzing data, assisting in documentation, and contributing to solution design discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in requirements gathering and documentation for business and technical teams
Participate in stakeholder meetings and workshops
Analyze and document business processes and workflows
Support in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and Use Cases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project goals
Provide support for testing and validation efforts (UAT)

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong analytical and communication skills
Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Any exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, or MS Visio is a plus
A background or coursework in Business Analysis or a related field is desirable

This is an onsite/hybrid position available across multiple states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Massachusetts, Georgia, and Florida .
