Jenny & Francois is a 20+ year wine importing/distribution company based in Tribeca. We specialize in boutique growers who produce some of the best natural wines in the world including in the US, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Greece and Georgia. We are looking for an experienced sales person to take over a top producing and established run. The full-time position includes a robust commission and benefits package.

The right candidate will share our passion for the J&F portfolio and belief that many of our producers are among the best of their regions. You’ll love working with wines made with little to no intervention. You’ll have a proven track record in sales and be regarded by customers as a trusted supplier who can provide the right advice and options to fill their needs in today’s challenging business environment. You are someone who views your job as more than just a sales position and excels in sales for that reason. You’ll also be very good at working independently and as a team player.

Total per year compensation range: $76,000 - $156,000 + potential bonuses and incentives (we will consider hiring one or two reps, depending on experience level).

Responsibilities will include:

Achieving growth in accordance with stated sales goals
Growing existing customer revenue and relationships along with developing new business
Learning company portfolio
Learning to use company ERP in order to be current with inventory, customer performance and sales opportunities
Leading wine education for restaurant customers and their waitstaff as asked
Providing in store tastings
Attending bi-weekly sales meetings
Attending industry events

This position requires:
A 4-year college degree or equivalent
Ability to hold a Solicitor’s Permit
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle preferred
Ability to work independently
Organized and able to see accounts as often as needed in order to grow sales
Strong communication skills
Want to continuously learn and evolve with an already evolving scene
Relationship building and sales are a must
Speaking a foreign language is a plus
