Job Description

IT Infrastructure Project Manager – Transit & Traffic Initiatives

We’re seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects supporting traffic and transit operations in Nashville. This role requires strong coordination skills, technical understanding, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendors from project planning through execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT infrastructure initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors, handling project scope, timelines, and payments
  • Communicate technical updates clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and performance metrics
  • Support development and implementation of IT/OSP standards and procedures
  • Occasionally work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of IT project management experience, preferably with infrastructure projects
  • Proven ability to manage teams, vendors, and complex timelines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • PMP certification or experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, etc.)
  • Knowledge of IT/OSP systems and infrastructure
