Job Description

Ensure effective demand and supply planning, inventory procurement and management, Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute and lead a comprehensive strategy to align sales forecasts and inventory levels with the company's financial goals and customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain calendars, meeting schedules, and process documentation.
  • Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance and Operations) to review and analyze demand and supply data, identify gaps or issues, and develop action plans to address them.
  • Collaborate with Sales to gather and analyze demand forecast
  • Develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, customer insights and sales input.
  • Adjust forecasts based on changes in market conditions, promotions, and product life cycle.
  • Drive the implementation of effective inventory management practices, including demand forecasting accuracy, safety stock optimization, and order fulfillment strategies.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Develop strategies to improve inventory turnover and reduce holding costs.
  • Coordinate with Operations to develop production plans that meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure production schedules are aligned with forecasted demand and inventory targets
  • Address production constraints and capacity issues to maintain delivery performance.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, stockouts, service level, and lead times.
  • Prepare and present reports and dashboards to senior management.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on performance data.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, inventory management, or related roles.
  • Proven experience leading processes in a complex, multi-site/multi-line environment with advanced knowledge of processes, principles, and best practices.
  • Advanced NetSuite experience a MUST
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to generate insights from data and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
