The Team And Job Summary

We are seeking a Consultant to join our Economic Damages & Valuations team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the Economic Damages & Valuations team. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of accounting and finance, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.

Job Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the Summer Intern position in our Birmingham, Alabama office. Assignments generally involve financial investigations, economic damages analyses and business valuation analyses for businesses and/or individuals involved in complex financial challenges and controversies across multiple industries including financial services, insurance, healthcare, construction/real estate, manufacturing, and energy.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a postgraduate degree including, but not limited to MBA, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Arts in Economics or Master of Science in Applied Statistics.
  • Minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 3.5.
  • Have general computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.


Physical And Mental Job Qualifications

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to commute to our local office in downtown Birmingham, AL on a hybrid schedule (Monday & Fridays remote; Tuesday-Thursday in the office)
