JOB TITLE: Interiors Fabrication - Early Career - Free Housing Support

LOCATION: North Charleston, SC

PAY RATE: $26.00 per hour

Details:

• 12-month contract with opportunities for extension

• Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, and LTD through Cigna after working 30 days on contract

Summary:

• Install, fit, fasten, align, adjust, and perform pre-installation and installation of aircraft interiors.

• Conduct interior repairs on cabin assemblies made of fiberglass, plastic, and composites, using techniques like painting and filling.

• Perform this role across various stages of the aircraft assembly process, in both factory and flight line settings.

• Interpret engineering drawings to select the correct parts, materials, tools, and hardware for installations.

• Execute proper cleaning, surface prep, and masking for rework.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or GED.

• 1+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.

• 3+ years of aerospace or manufacturing experience with decorative finishes and cabin systems (galleys, seats, liners).

• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and schematics.

• Technical expertise in filing, sanding, painting, decorative laminates, and cosmetic rework.

• Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).

• Non-managerial position.
