Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and creative intern interior designer to join our team. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the interior design process while working closely with our talented team of professionals. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

Assist senior designers in project research, conceptualization, and development.

Contribute to the creation of mood boards, design presentations, and material/color palettes.

Participate in client meetings and presentations, taking notes and providing support as needed.

Assist with drafting floor plans, elevations, and detailed drawings using CAD software, Revit, Sketchup, and Renderings.

Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source materials, furnishings, and accessories.

Organize and maintain project files, samples, and documentation.

Assist with on-site visits and installations to ensure design intent is executed accurately.

Support the team with administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited interior design program or a recent graduate.

Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design trends.

Self-motivated and able to take initiative on assigned tasks.

Prior internship or work experience in interior design is a plus.
