Position:

Aligned Modern Health seeks a “detail fanatic”  Human Resources Generalist  to lead all company HR-related duties, including: policies/procedures, benefits administration, employee relations, training and development, performance management, recruitment and onboarding, DEI initiatives, and helping define and improve the work culture. This position r eports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is based in the Chicagoland area.  The role pays $65,000-$75,000 per year (based on  experience).

Key Responsibilities .

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by managing employee relations matters, resolving conflicts, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and providing guidance to managers and staff on performance, conduct, and workplace policies. 
  • Partner with the Director of Recruiting and hiring managers to support recruitment efforts, including job description creation, interviewing, offer letters, background checks, and new hire communications.
  • Manage the orientation and on-boarding process for all new employees.
  • Research, implement and support the administration of all company benefit plans, including annual renewals and open enrollment.
  • Administer the HRIS management system and support the payroll process.
  • Oversee employee leaves, including drafting and coordinating required documentation and notifications.
  • Lead and maintain the annual performance evaluation cycle. 
  • Assist with wellness efforts, event planning, coordination of bi-annual “All Teams” meetings, DEI initiatives, and special projects/committees.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant Human Resources systems and records. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in all aspects of human resources.
  • PHR/SHRM-CP certification is a plus. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to present and train others.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated.
  • Client focused, customer service disposition.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects/priorities simultaneously and exercise a high level of confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of payroll software, experience with “Rippling” is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, GSuite, HRIS and other databases.
  • Visit each of our 16 Chicagoland area clinics on a monthly basis.
