This role is onsite at our headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ 85256.

Schedule: Monday through Friday (8a - 5p)

The HR People Partner is responsible for managing and executing the day-to-day HR functions that support employees and leaders across the organization. This role ensures compliance with employment laws, administers benefits and leave programs, manages employee relations matters, and supports engagement initiatives. The HR People Partner also provides hands-on coaching and guidance to managers, ensuring consistent application of policies and practices while fostering a positive and professional workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to provide guidance on employee relations and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Manage benefits and leave administration, including FMLA, ADA, and other leave programs.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct investigations into employee concerns and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Advise and coach managers on leadership effectiveness and employee development.
  • Develop and deliver training for managers and employees on HR policies, workplace best practices, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to improve processes and implement HR initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to business leaders to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification preferred: PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP).
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Experience managing benefits and leave programs.
  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills with experience training managers and employees.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build trust, influence, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong executive presence with professional image, demeanor, and a high level of professionalism expected of an HR leader.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
