General Description: The Room Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and presentation of our guest suites

Company: Fox Harb'r Resort/ Fox Harb’r Development Ltd.

The resort offers guest accommodation, golf, spa, sport shooting and dining.

Type of Employment: Seasonal-Full time

Estimated Start Date: April 1st , 2024 (Workers are needed from April to November 30, 2024)

Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
  • Dust furniture
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closet
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
  • Provide basic information on facilities
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings
  • Clean changing rooms and showers

Requirements

* Previous housekeeping experience an asset, but not necessary
* Be physically fit, this position requires walking, bending, lifting up to 50lbs, stretching, flights of stairs and climbing stepladders
* Be neat in appearance, grooming, jewelry and body art will meet Fox Harb’r standards
* Ability to work as part of a team effectively
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to interact with our guest needs, remaining courteous and confidential
* Enjoy working varied shifts, weekends and holidays
