SummaryUnder the supervision of the manager performs various housekeeping functions including: soiled linen, handling and pick up, hard floor care, carpet care, wall cleaning, stairwell cleaning and equipment cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms using the 7 steps of cleaning method• Perform hard floor care and utilizes approved floor care procedures.• Uses proper technique for terminal cleaning in the Operating Room.• Performs carpet and upholstery care, utilizing approved carpet and upholstery care standard procedures.

Qualifications

High school/GED6 months experience is required; 1 year preferred. 

Must be able to read and write English and follow simple instructions.
