Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our 2nd shift team. As a Heavy Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of heavy trucks. Schedule is M-F 3pm-11pm. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy trucks.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Ensure all trucks are safe, reliable, and meet all regulatory state standards.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repairs.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a heavy truck mechanic.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
ASE's preferred.
Certification in heavy truck repair and maintenance is preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
