Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our 2nd shift team. As a Heavy Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of heavy trucks. Schedule is M-F 3pm-11pm. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy trucks.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Ensure all trucks are safe, reliable, and meet all regulatory state standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a heavy truck mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • ASE's preferred.
  • Certification in heavy truck repair and maintenance is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
