Summary – Heavy Equipment Mechanic:  

Leading provider of residential and commercial excavation services in Kansas City, MO. With over 25 years of experience, we specialize in mass grading, site development, and underground utilities, utilizing the latest equipment and GPS technology to improve production and accuracy.

As the Heavy Equipment Mechanic you and the mechanical team will be responsible for the preventative and reparative maintenance for the entire fleet of heavy equipment. This is a pivotal role for the organization, and we are looking for a skilled and reliable individual who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Position Overview – Heavy Equipment Mechanic:  

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and cranes.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts.
• Align and test equipment, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.

Qualification Summary – Heavy Equipment Mechanic:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in heavy equipment repair preferred.
• Previous experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with computerized testing equipment and tools.
• Understanding of computer testing technologies.
• Ability to lift heavy machinery and perform physically demanding tasks.
