Basic Job Functions: We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our team, for the Summer of 2025! The intern will assist our brand team in creating graphics for a range of different projects, including social media graphics, website design elements and print materials. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of design principles, excellent visual design skills, and a portfolio that demonstrates their passion for innovative design and branding. This position will help you acquire graphic design skills and provide you with knowledge of various design strategies. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Responsibilities

• Design marketing materials such asl collateral, presentations, banners, emails, signage, infographics, branded gear and more
• Design and source images for use on social media, company intranet or public website
• Collaborate with the marketing team to elevate our brands in the marketplace
• Take the lead on a design project for the organization on an internal or external campaign
• Support design projects from initial concept to final production
• Review graphics, layouts, and fonts before products are completed
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ensure all design elements, templates and finished designs are aligned with brand guidelines
• Maintain brand standards and inform others of brand standards
• Help enhance creative atmosphere and drive conversations around the benefits of good designMinimum Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:
