LocumJobsOnline is working with AAS Locum Tenens to find a qualified Family Practice MD in Fort Smith, Arkansas, 72916!About The PositionWe are seeking a Part-Time
Collaborating Physician to join our forward-thinking care team in Fort Smith,
Arkansas. This temporary position offers flexible scheduling of 1 to 3 days per
week, providing an excellent opportunity to balance clinical practice with
supervisory duties in a supportive, innovative environment.
As a Collaborating
Physician, you will contribute to our mission of delivering comprehensive,
value-based care that emphasizes whole-person health and reduces unnecessary
healthcare utilization. Your role will include one dedicated day per week for
supervising nurse practitioners and conducting chart reviews. On the remaining
1–2 days, you will provide direct patient care, seeing 10–15 patients per day
in extended 30- to 60-minute visits that prioritize meaningful engagement and
improved outcomes.
You will work alongside a
multidisciplinary team, including a dedicated health coach, to deliver
proactive, team-based care that fosters improved patient experience and
measurable health improvements.
Requirements:
MD or DO degree with
completed Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency (Family Medicine
preferred)Board Certified by ABMS
(ABFM/ABIM) or AOAAt least 3 years of primary
care experienceCurrent, valid medical
license and DEA numberProficiency with EMR systems
(NextGen preferred), coding, and Medicare Advantage/HCC documentationExperience with Google
