Job Description
Our client is seeking an Attorney with over 5 years of experience to join their Government Contracts and Regulation business unit. Candidates based in Washington D.C. are preferred. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:
- In-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency supplements.
- Experience advising clients on FAR compliance and certification requirements.
- Experience prosecuting and defending bid protests at the GAO and Court of Federal Claims.
- Experience with other government contracts litigation and investigations, including contract claims, OIG investigations, whistleblower claims, false claims, and prime-subcontractor disputes.
- Assisting clients in obtaining Federal Government prime contracts.
- Negotiating and preparing subcontracts, teaming agreements, and joint ventures.
- Familiarity with small and disadvantaged business programs and processes.
- Representing clients in mergers and acquisitions involving government contracts.
- Advising public and non-profit clients on federal financial assistance awards.
Candidates with a portable business or a proven track record of client acquisition are preferred.
