Beachside Vacation Rentals is a locally owned and operated vacation rental management company headquartered in downtown Cocoa Beach, Florida. Our properties are conveniently located near Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, Port Canaveral, Cape Canaveral…and now, Savannah, Georgia! 

Aside from offering a top-notch vacation rental experience, we take pride in our commitment to helping our property investors maximize their return on investment. To ensure their investment property is always in mint condition and generates the highest profit, we provide comprehensive property management services, including marketing, rental management, cleaning, and maintenance.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We're seeking a seasoned and hospitality-driven General Manager to become an integral part of our thriving downtown Savannah vacation rental building. This is a unique opportunity to live rent-free in a stylish two-bedroom apartment while overseeing the operations of our 15-unit property. 

As our Live-In General Manager, you'll be the heart and soul of our building. Your role is crucial in ensuring our guests enjoy unforgettable stays while maintaining the property's impeccable condition. You'll be the onsite point of contact for guests, handling everything from warm welcomes to addressing any concerns promptly. 

We're looking for a hands-on individual with a proven track record in the hospitality industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Property Management: Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling cleaning services and maintaining inventory. 
• Property Maintenance: Oversee building upkeep, coordinate repairs, and maintain property aesthetics.
• Guest Experience: Prioritize guest satisfaction by ensuring timely and efficient check-ins/check-outs, addressing guest issues, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and assisting with guest entry as needed. 
• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory of all property amenities and supplies.
• Operational Efficiency: Implement systems and processes to optimize property operations. 
• Marketing & SEO: Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase occupancy rates for Beachside VR. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in property management or the hospitality industry operations, vacation rental experience is highly preferred. 
• Working knowledge of general residential home maintenance and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues that may arise; must have a hands-on mentality and willingness to perform light maintenance tasks. 
• Previous experience with marketing and SEO strategies. 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 
• Must be able to live on-site.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Base Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 annual salary in addition to: 

• Downtown Living: Enjoy a rent-free two-bedroom apartment in the heart of downtown Savannah. 
• Utility Coverage: Electric, Wi-Fi, and garbage are on us. 
• Free Parking: parking space will be provided. 

Base salary and housing are a combined total compensation package of $80,000
