Quality Manager

Position Overview
The Quality Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes within the food manufacturing sector, specifically focusing on peanut-based snacks. The role aims to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety, in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for peanut snack production.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for quality improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and train quality assurance staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead investigations into product quality issues and develop action plans to resolve them.
  • Ensure all quality documentation is maintained and updated in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in quality management within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards specific to snack foods.
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and tools such as Six Sigma or HACCP.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
