We are looking for a Freelance Recruiting Coordinator for a top media company in New York, New York! The company is looking for a Freelance Recruiting Coordinator to join their NYC office. This role offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in full-cycle campus recruitment, including sourcing, scheduling, and programming support, while collaborating closely with emerging early career talent across the country.
Responsibilities:- Provide support to the Team in all aspects of the recruiting life cycle for internships and entry-level roles
- Post internship and entry-level positions to ATS and supporting job boards
- Responsible for the candidate interview experience from first contact through the interview process to ensure a seamless experience
- Schedule a high volume of Zoom, phone, and on-site interviews locally and across the U.S.
- Track candidate interview status in Workday
- Assist in the hiring and onboarding of Fall, Spring, and Summer interns
- Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on application status via phone and email
- Answer candidate questions, as well as resolve or filter issues to the appropriate parties
- Prepare and send candidate offer letters and close out hires in Workday
- Maintain accurate reporting within our internal tools and recruiting system
- Conduct various employment verification processes
- Act as the liaison between hiring managers and candidates
- Manage in-house interviews the day of to ensure that interviews are punctual
- Coordinate written feedback from interviewers and create candidate summary documents for candidate debriefs
- Review resumes, conduct initial candidate screens, administer assessments and perform data entry of candidate activities
- Assist with the organization of internship programming, events
Required Qualifications:- 1+ year of administrative, HR, or coordination experience, ideally in a fast-paced or client-facing environment
- Clear communication and strong organizational skills
- A customer service mindset and attention to detail
- Comfort juggling multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience using Workday or applicant tracking systems is a plus
- Interest or background in talent acquisition or campus programs is a plus
