Job Description

Road Ranger, a multi-state Travel Center company, is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join its Finance Department at its Schaumburg Headquarters!

Position Summary:
Working under the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the primary functions of this role are to design and produce Management reports, analysis, and presentations that are required on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyze and provide insights into monthly P&L trends, prepare management reporting for board of directors
• Analyze and prepare trend reports for weekly committees
• Create reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI
• Direct participation in the yearly budgeting process and monthly budget reporting and tracking
• Analyze greenfield investments and other special projects as assigned
• Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, business profitability and operating forecasts

Education & Experience

• BA/BS degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Applied Economics, or Finance
• 0-3 years of experience
• Microsoft Power BI and Excel experience
• Programming skills desired

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Ability to work under pressure and to balance multiple tasks simultaneously with strict attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
• Strong problem solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills 
• Aptitude for making sense of large, complex datasets
• Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality

Pay Range: $50,000-$65,000 annually
