Certified Forklift Operator

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Certified Forklift Operator with experience operating a sit-down forklift equipped with a roll clamp attachment. This role is responsible for safely moving paper rolls and other materials throughout the facility while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting shipping and receiving operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (primarily sit-down with roll clamp attachment) to move, stack, and organize paper rolls and other materials throughout the facility.
• Safely load and unload trucks, railcars, and other transportation vehicles.
• Prepare materials and orders for shipment.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Use RF scanners and basic computer systems to track inventory, shipments, and receipts.
• Perform cycle counts and rotate stock as required.
• Complete required documentation, logs, and material movement records.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification (required).
• Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift with a roll clamp attachment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and safety awareness.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Basic computer and RF scanner proficiency.
