Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in Mahwah, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: 4PM - 12:30AM
• Plus Overtime

Pay Rate

• $17.50 / hour

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators to manage inventory and ensure smooth warehouse operations. Responsibilities include safely operating forklifts, optimizing load efficiency, and using RF scanning tools to track and manage inventory. This role requires careful attention to detail, strong hand-eye coordination, and a commitment to handling valuable goods responsibly.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered sit-down forklifts.
• Utilize scanners to accurately track and manage inventory movements.
• Prepare goods for transportation, including palletizing and wrapping items.
• Inspect items for any damages and report as needed.
• Remain vigilant about potential safety hazards in the workplace.
• Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of forklifts and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of product movements and inventory updates.

Job Requirements  

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Previous experience operating sit-down forklifts is essential.
• Experience using cherry pickers is required.
