Start your new career as a Forklift Operator with MAU at Textron Specialized Vehicles (E-Z-GO) in Augusta, GA. As a Forklift Operator you will operate material handling equipment to receive, store, and distribute products, manage inventory, ensure equipment safety, and maintain clean and organized workstations while adhering to safety and company policies.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Previous experience as a forklift operator
• Experience using RFT scanners required
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that requires 10-12 hour shifts while standing most of the time
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds when performing job tasks
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed

What You’ll Do as a Forklift Operator

• Operate sit-down forklift to receive products from carriers and transport to storage areas
• Distribute and issue products efficiently across production areas
• Manage and maintain accurate warehouse inventory
• Safely unload inbound shipments and move products to designated storage locations
• Conduct equipment inspections before and after operational use to ensure safety and functionality
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) in all tasks
• Clean and maintain workstations, following all safety guidelines and company policies
• Monitor parts and materials inventory, replenishing bins as necessary for daily operations
• Operate material handling equipment, including clamp trucks and cherry pickers, to move materials safely and efficiently
• Perform other duties as assigned
