Job Description

Field Service Engineer
Location: Meridian, ID - onsite
Salary: $60,000 - $120,000 DOE
Travel: 75% of the time (domestic + international) 

Position Overview:

A Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing on-site technical support and assistance to clients for various equipment and systems. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, as well as providing training and guidance to clients on product usage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client service calls and inquiries in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment
  • Provide training and support to clients on product usage
  • Create and maintain detailed service reports
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement solutions for recurring equipment issues

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in field service or a related role
  • Extensive knowledge of PLC programming and ladder logic
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing equipment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and P&ID software
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
