Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner - Occupational Health
Location: Albany, New York
Position Type: Direct Hire, Part-Time (32 hours/week)
Salary: $92,000 - $147,004 per year, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Environment: 2 days in-office, 2 days remote/telehealth

Position Overview:
This part-time Nurse Practitioner role offers a unique opportunity to provide advanced care within the field of Occupational Health. You will have the chance to work independently while being part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary healthcare team. The position focuses on workers' compensation cases and offers a work-life balance with no weekend or holiday requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized care plans
Prescribe, manage, and evaluate interventions for patients and families
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
Provide leadership within the clinic and supervise one front desk staff member
Uphold and exemplify the organization's mission, vision, and values in your daily work
Ensure compliance with all clinic policies and procedures
Manage the clinic independently, with no narcotics or drug screens involved
Requirements:
Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
NPI number and Medicare Enrollment (or eligibility within 6 months of hire)
National Certification from AANP or ANCC
Master's Degree in Nursing
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for patient care and continuous professional development
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Occupational Medicine, Musculoskeletal, or Orthopedic care is highly preferred, but not required
