The Perlant is a social club rooted in wine. We are building a community for our members
through shared experiences and exceptional food, wine and hospitality.

This role will be a hybrid consisting of Event Manager and Assistant General Manager
responsibilities serving as an integral bridge between service, wine and private events
for members. With a deep-rooted understanding of hospitality and a keen ability to
multi-manage, we are looking for an experienced professional to help lead our staff and
execute at the highest level. Working with our management team, this role will help to
ensure our staff and members have the best possible experience at The Perlant. We are
looking for a leader who has experience opening a new hospitality concept, a strong
rolodex of relationships for event opportunity, experience executing in-house events, and
someone who embodies our core values of being humble, generous and kind.

Responsibilities Include
● Communication with members and non-members when applicable, to coordinate
and organize events.
● Generate & overseeing the execution, start to finish, of private events within the
space
● Management of TripleSeat and event management protocols and details
● Able to build and maintain guest and member relationships
● Clear understanding of service standards for all meal periods
● Strong understanding of P&L
● Ability to control costs including, not limited to, labor, beverage, food and variable
expenses
● Maintain clear communication between front and back of house managers
● Stamina to work long and physical hours
● Adhere to assigned duties
● Bassett/Tips certified
● ServSafe management certified
● Able to schedule hourly staff to meet service standards while controlling costs
● Adhere to assigned work schedule

 

Skills Encouraged
● Experienced in the organization, creation, execution and finances of private
events
● Experienced in the sales process of securing new event interest from existing
members and potential new members
● Keen understanding of food and beverage service and menu management
● Strong people skills to manage the relationships with members and clients and
their guests.
● Experience managing or working in multi-concept or high volume execution,
including private club, hotel, or other example
● Natural leader who understands how to inspire and empower their team for
success
● Collaborative and willing to work with a team while remaining open to feedback
and continuous improvement
● A genuine interest and/or education in wine to understand the importance and
prioritization of our wine program as an anchor for our concept
● Adaptable and excited by evolution
● Strong attention to detail
