About The Role:

As a CBRE Events Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a small team assigned to meetings, events & conference services. You will lead tenant experience at a newly redeveloped Class A office asset on Park Avenue in NYC. This is a full-time on-site position in Midtown Manhattan.

This role will be focused on developing, deploying and managing a sophisticated on-site tenant experience program in partnership with industry-leaders in the customer experience space.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure hospitality standards are implemented and upheld across the tenant experience team on site at the asset
  • Partner with the on-site property management team to embed hospitality values across building operations
  • Act as the face of the building and key point of contact for tenant communications
  • Assist in the management of a tenant CRM platform to ensure accurate and complete profiles are available to support tenant relationships
  • Define tenant experience program goals and desired outcomes in partnership with building ownership, strategic partners and building management. Develop and execute program aligned to those goals, focused on building community, connectivity and productivity across the asset.
  • Manage all aspects of program execution including budgeting, vendor management, onsite execution and reporting
  • Manage supporting content and marketing of events and programming including distribution of newsletters, digital signage and posters.
  • Assist in the diligent aggregation of tenant experience metrics and customer satisfaction surveys. Utilize aggregated data and analytics to make recommendations on program improvements
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the on-site tenant amenity space including set up, catering, AV support and guest relations. Ensure amenity space is well maintained and stocked with inventory and event supplies.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Maintain department budget. Approve purchase orders for event supplies as requested by the team.
  • Ensure operations and vendors are aligned with location requirements.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Events Manager position is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Events Manager position is $98,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
