We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing a variety of events ranging from corporate gatherings and conferences to social celebrations and community initiatives. As an Event Coordinator, you will liaise with clients to understand their vision and requirements, manage logistics, budget planning, and vendor sourcing, ensuring that each event is executed flawlessly and meets or exceeds expectations. 

Pay:

$19.50 - $31.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute events from conception to completion within budget and timelines.
• Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, and transportation.
• Communicate with clients to understand their goals and ensure their vision is realized.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services and supplies.
• Oversee event setup and teardown, ensuring all elements are executed as planned.
• Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event planning or coordination in a professional setting.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and vendors.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools.
