Hours: 2nd. 5:30pm to 6:00am

Days- Thursday – Sunday or

Sunday – Wednesday

$19.30/hr 1st week of orientation, $24.85 after orientation. Orientation is a week.

Tyson Foods is currently seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art food processing plant. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery used in our food processing operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards and the efficient production of our food products.

Responsibilities: - Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery used in food processing.

• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, electrical issues, and mechanical failures.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and any additional recommendations.

Requirements: - Application and/or resume must show a minimum of 6 months’ experience and/or training in one of the following areas: Mechanical troubleshooting, Electrical/Electronic Troubleshooting, Hydraulic Troubleshooting, PLC Troubleshooting and Navigation, Welding/Fabrication, AC/DC Control Wiring, Motor Control, 3 Phase Wiring, Plumbing, Conveyor Maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatic systems.

Note: Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days. Rehires are limited to 3 times of employment.
