About job:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic events team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about events and eager to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of event coordination. As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning and execution of various events ranging from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences and social events. 

Salary Range: 

$22.00 - $32.00 per hour

Job:  Full time

Location:  Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing events from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and clients to ensure seamless event logistics.
  • Support the event registration process and manage attendee communications.
  • Help create event materials, including invitations, programs, and signage.
  • Assist with on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Maintain event budgets and track expenses during the planning process.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and assist in compiling feedback for future improvements.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic design software.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced team members.
  • Previous internship or volunteer experience in event planning is a plus but not required.
