Designer/Detailer
Responsibilities
* Design and detail below-the-hook lifting devices according to customer needs and applicable national code specifications
* Perform calculations on mechanical lever systems and lifting devices
* Collaborate with sales and engineering department to produce a final product
Education/Experience
* Associate's degree in Mechanical Design/Engineering
* Minimum 3 years experience working with below-the-hook lifting devices, overhead cranes
* Ability to perform calculations on mechanical lever systems and lifting devices
* Be able to work with minimum supervision
* Proficiency in Autodesk software (Inventor, AutoCAD, Vault, etc...)
